There are two sections to the Holy Bible: The Old Testament and New Testament. The O. T. was written over a period of approximately 1,000 years, somewhere between 1400 B.C. and 400 B.C. The N. T. was written over a period of approximately 50 years, somewhere between A.D. 50 and 100.
