Have you ever wondered how the families at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Haiti benefit from the livestock program supported by Good Shepherd parishioners?

Thanks to the sale of goats from the program:

๐ŸŽ“ 13 families were able to pay school tuition for their children
๐Ÿ’Š 1 family purchased medicine for a sick child
๐ŸŒฑ 2 families bought seeds to plant on their small farms

What began just three years ago with 80 goats has now grown to an incredible 273 goats serving 169 families! Even more exciting, 85 families have already given a female goat back to the program to help others, and 87 families now care for multiple animals. Eleven parishioners have as many as five goats!

๐Ÿ„ Thereโ€™s more good newsโ€”8 of the 10 cows purchased last year are expected to give birth this summer. And for your enjoyment, meet the first calf born through the program! ๐Ÿ“ธ

Your generosity is making a real and lasting difference in the lives of families in Haiti. Father Rousseau, Jean Bony, and the families of Our Lady of Perpetual Help continue to send their gratitude and prayers to all of their friends at Good Shepherd.

๐Ÿ›๏ธโค๏ธ What an incredible Parish Engagement Day! Today, over 137 volunteers partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - FL, Tallahassee to build more than 50 beds, helping ensure that 46 children will be sleeping in their own beds tonight. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐ŸซถWhat a beautiful reminder that even simple acts of service can make a life-changing difference.

Fun Fact: GS parishioners ๏ฟผhave helped build more than 240 beds over the past few years ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Parish Engagement Day is underway, and more than 250 Good Shepherd parishioners are serving throughout our community today! ๐Ÿคฏ

From building bunk beds and serving local ministries to caring for our neighbors in need, every act of service is a visible sign of Christโ€™s love. Look at our Road Cleanup Team, who rolled up their sleeves to help keep our community beautiful while caring for Godโ€™s creation. ๐ŸŒŽ
