Today was a joyous, yet bittersweet day for Aenon Baptist Church.

We had the privilege of baptizing Huixue Li, known to us as Jupiter. For nearly five years, she has faithfully blessed our congregation as an exceptionally talented pianist. It has been a joy to witness the Lord’s work in her life over that time.

This year, Jupiter professed her faith in Christ, and today we rejoiced to see her follow Him in baptism.

It is bittersweet, though, as she will soon be returning home this month to her family in China. We are so happy for her, and thankful for the Lord’s work in her life and excited for what He has ahead for her, even as we know she will be greatly missed by our church family.

Please join us in praying for Jupiter, that the Lord would bless her, strengthen her, and keep His hand upon her as she continues her walk with Christ.

We thank God for the time He gave us with her, and we entrust her to His faithful care.
