One week from today, join us for an evening of soothing sounds at our 2nd Annual Sound Bath! On Sat., Dec. 21 at 6 PM, give yourself the gift of an oasis of peace and relaxation during the busy season of Advent. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket. (We suggest cushioned mats as our wood floor is a hard surface.) Our doors will open at 5:30 PM for everyone to come in and find a spot to set up. The Sound Bath will begin at 6 PM.

Hot beverages and cookies will be served after the sound bath concludes. Stay for fellowship and conversation. There will be a $15 registration fee to help cover our costs. (Confidential scholarships available upon request). Childcare will be provided.

This special evening is led by Trine, a trio of dedicated sound healing practitioners on a mission to bring harmony and well-being through the power of sound. Together, we will wait in the darkness for the coming light.

Join St. John’s Episcopal Church and The Front Porch as we walk a local labyrinth together. If you’ve never done this before, you’ll find it to be a unique contemplative experience that can take you on a symbolic spiritual journey!

The Advent Prayer Labyrinth walk is a meditative experience through a fellow church’s maze. Participants will be given some options on how or what they might like to pray for or meditate on as they ambulate through the labyrinth. Perfect for the Advent season.

Join us at Unity Eastside (8551 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, FL 32317) on Saturday, December 14 between 10 AM and 12 PM as we prayerfully explore their labyrinth and find some peace in Advent.

At 5:30 PM on Sunday, February 25, the St. John’s Adult Choir and Choristers will lead a Lenten service of Choral Evensong. All are welcome to join us for this timeless and introspective service of worship.

One of the oldest in the Anglican tradition, Choral Evensong (sung Evening Prayer) combines the sung monastic offices of Vespers (at sunset) and Compline (before bedtime) and is drawn almost entirely from holy scripture.
