MONDAY HIGHLIGHT: Our Rector and Capital Campaign Committee Member
Hello I am Fr. Hugh Chapman and it has been my joy to serve the Lord as a priest for the past forty-two years! My ministry journey began in 1979 in Guyana, the only English speaking country in South America. Since then, it has been my privilege to serve in the Bahamas, the Turks and Caicos Island and the United States Virgin Islands. My family migrated to Florida in 2007 and our first stop was Jacksonville (ten years), before accepting the offer to serve as rector at St. Michael & All Angels here in Tallahassee. I particularly enjoy serving beside our outreach team at the Kearney Center and Grace Mission. In recent times, I have been afforded the opportunity to serve beside some twenty-five pastors who came together to establish the Capital Area Justice Ministry (CAJM). Finally, the Standing Committee of our Diocese, just invited me to be a part of the Nominating Committee that will identify candidate(s) for the new Bishop of the Diocese of Florida come 2022.
