✨ VBS 2026 is a wrap! ✨

Jesus is the Light! 💡✝️

While we may have been few in number, God’s presence was with us. As the Bible reminds us, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20)

We had a wonderful time learning, growing, and sharing God’s love together. We certainly missed those who were unable to join us this year, and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Thank you to everyone who helped make VBS 2026 a blessing! ❤️

🔥Union T Wildfire Update🔥2/10/26 @ 1:30 p.m.

The Union T wildfire is currently 632 acres in size and is 75% contained. Firefighters are continuing to make progress on containment lines and anticipate full containment by 7:00 p.m. this evening.

“The safety of the public and our firefighters is always a priority especially during a wildfire,” said Joe Milligan, assistant forest fire management officer for the National Forests in Alabama.

Be aware that there will be smoke in the area of Cemetery Mountain Road and Union T Cutoff on the Talladega Ranger District in Talladega County. There are currently no Forest closures on any roads or trails. For the safety of Forest visitors and our firefighters, please avoid areas where fire suppression operations are underway.

It’s just a building that’s for sure but that little church is where we worship, souls have been saved & lives changed.

There is no danger to the church per the forestry.
Prayers for all the firefighters.

Forest Service firefighters are actively responding to a 300+ acre wildfire on the Talladega Ranger District, near the Union T area (north of the Union T Road and Fox Trot Road junction) in Talladega County. Be aware that there will be smoke in the area. For the health and safety of Forest visitors and our firefighters, please avoid areas where fire suppression operations are underway.
