We are so proud of and happy for our “ First Lady” at Limbaugh Chapel, Sister Ann Epperson on her much deserved Retirement!
We’re sharing a wonderful, inspiring tribute posted for her by the WHS Principal Mr. Lawrence.
Congratulations Sister Ann!!!!! We Love You!
The following was posted by Mr. Lawrence.
I am so happy to celebrate Billy Ann Epperson on her much deserved retirement.
Today we celebrated the retirement of an incredible clerical assistant whose hard work, kindness, and dedication have touched so many lives.
For 37 years with Talladega County Schools, Mrs. Epperson has been the heart of our school in the front office for many of those. She is the person who kept everything running smoothly, welcomed everyone with a smile, and always went above and beyond without hesitation. Her professionalism, patience, and when needed no nonsense attitude made even the busiest days easier and brighter for all of us.
The impact made cannot be measured simply by tasks completed or years served. It’s found in the relationships built, the support given, and the countless moments where she made others feel valued and appreciated especially me. She was the very first person I met when I walked into WHS to interview over 19 years ago. She helped me grow as a teacher, kept me in line as an assistant principal, and was a cherished supporter as principal. The best “gate keeper” for the principal one can ask for.
While we will deeply miss seeing her every day, we are so excited for this new chapter filled with rest, joy, adventure, and time spent doing the things she loves most. Especially with her family and ministry as the First Lady at her church.
Thank you for everything you have done. Your footprints are on my heart forever. Wishing you a retirement as wonderful and inspiring as you are. Congratulations on this well-earned milestone!
Much Love and Blessings!
