Dr. YoungHoon Kim, a South Korean scientist widely described by high-IQ organizations as having one of the highest recorded intelligence scores, publicly declared on social media in June that “Jesus Christ is God, the way, the truth, and the life.” The statement, shared on X, quickly spread across global platforms and drew attention from both faith communities and the broader public. Many believers saw his words as a reminder that faith in Christ reaches across cultures, professions, and intellectual backgrounds.

In later posts, Dr. Kim connected his personal faith to his worldview, explaining that Christianity shapes how he understands truth, purpose, and moral reasoning. While discussions about extremely high IQ scores can be debated and measured differently by various institutions, the message that captured people’s attention was not a number, but a confession of faith. For many Christians, it echoed the words of Scripture: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).

The moment sparked conversations about how faith and knowledge can coexist, and how even in a highly technological age, the name of Jesus continues to be proclaimed. It served as a reminder that true wisdom is not only measured by intellect, but by recognizing Christ as Lord and Savior.

We are super excited to announce that, beginning January 2026, Blake Allums will be the next youth pastor at the Revival Center!

Those of you who were in service today heard Blake’s heart and we have no doubt that God put this in motion long before we or Blake even knew it.

We are thankful for pastor Alex Fortson for mentoring Blake as his youth pastor and also thankful Pastor Jason White filling in these past few months. It takes a team for every ministry and God has built a fantastic foundation over the years and we know He will continue to do even greater things to come!
