Fall is on its way at Shocco, but we couldn’t step into a new season without looking back at an incredible summer! ☀️

As the busy days of summer begin to slow down and we prepare to welcome all that fall brings, we’re taking a moment to celebrate what God did on our campus this summer.
Summer By the Numbers:
194 total groups
24 new groups
25,000 overnight guests
Almost 600 known salvation decisions
301 staff members who made it all possible

Every number represents a story, a person, and an opportunity for ministry. We’re incredibly thankful for every group, guest, staff member, and ministry partner who made Summer 2026 one to remember.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

Our mission team had another incredible opportunity to serve alongside our sister camp, Retiros y Campamentos en Quito , near Calacalí, Ecuador!

This year, our team helped with several new projects around the campus and spent time serving and connecting with children in the local community.

We’re so thankful for each member of our team who gave their time, energy, and hearts to serve others and share the love of Christ. Please join us in praying for Hacienda El Refugio as the Lord continues to use this ministry to impact and grow their community.

This month, we're sharing the story of Chatom Baptist Church and why Shocco has become a place they look forward to returning to year after year.

For the past four summers, they've brought both their youth and children's ministries to Shocco, creating lifelong memories while growing together in their faith. From overcoming fears on the Giant Swing to quiet moments that pointed hearts toward Christ, their story is a reminder of what God can do through a week at camp.

We're so thankful for churches like Chatom Baptist and the opportunity to be a small part of the ministry happening in their students' lives each summer.

They’re off to Ecuador! ✈️

Today, a team of our incredible Summer Staff is heading to Ecuador to serve, love, and share the hope of Jesus. Throughout the trip, they’ll be working on meaningful projects, building relationships, and partnering with local ministries to make a lasting impact.

Would you join us in praying for them? Pray for safe travels, strength, open hearts, and that God would use them in powerful ways to share His love with everyone they meet.

We are so proud of these students and leaders for saying “yes” to serving wherever God calls. We can’t wait to see all that He does through them! ❤️
