They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we have found that it takes the Kingdom to build a ministry. We are so blessed to have so many people who support our ministry each year as staff, volunteers and donors who all use the gifts God has given them to use for the Kingdom work he is doing here at Camp Lighthouse.

Today, we want to give a special thank you to Anthony Powell (on the left with Matt Tanzy in the first pic) and his team from North Georgia Grading. His company has cut all of our camp roads, graded the land where we built the Ark, and fixed our lake. For example, our lake project was projected at $950K, but we were able to do it with Antony’s team for under $100K. The Ark and roads were all free meaning that NGG has given camp over a million dollars in in-kind services over the past decade. We are beyond blessed to have partners like this and are so grateful for their support of our ministry!

That’s a wrap for our July Day Trip week! This week we hosted over 150 kids and teens from 6 different groups for fun in the Ark and splashing in the lake. It was a sweet time to see our campers again before everyone heads back to school. As always, our staff were ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! ⚡️
