“Few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” - Luke 10:42
This famous passage highlights a core value of how Jesus approached ministry. To borrow a statement from our partners at RATL, “it is better to be with than do for.” That was the joy of our relational week this past week including hanging out with some of our high school counselors before church last Wednesday, our road trip to visit CoR West on Thursday, our counselor time on Sunday night, our camper day trip on Monday, having dinner with some UNG students Monday night, the day trip for the City Teens on Tuesday, dinner in Athens with some college counselors Tuesday night, and then finishing off with a chance to cheer on a long time support staff for her senior year of college soccer. CL literally went west, north and east this week and now we get to look forward to going south at the start of November. Being with is one of the best parts about what we have the privilege of doing as a ministry!
