As Christians, we all know the tragic story of Cain and Abel. But under all that, in this scripture God has an expectation for us.
"Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?”
We are to keep up with each other, look out for each other, do good to one another. This is all over scripture. Christians are family and family sticks together. Who can you check on today?
Phil 2:4 "do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."
1 Thess. 5:14 "We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone."
Heb. 3:13 "But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."
Rom. 15:1 "Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves."
