This season has been both good and challenging.
I was watching a game, and I heard God clearly say which team was going to win. Honestly, I didn’t believe it at first—the team was down by a large margin with less than a minute left. But long story short, that same team came back and won in overtime.
In that moment, I felt God say, “You don’t realize how clearly you’re hearing Me.” Then He spoke again and said, “In this season, you’re going to hear My voice like never before.”
I can say that I do hear God’s voice, but at the level I’m in right now, it feels like I’m being trained to hear Him even more precisely—to recognize His whisper in the middle of life’s battles. Whether it’s direction with my children, what to say in my marriage, decisions in business, or ministry choices—it’s like His voice is becoming more detailed and intentional in every area.
And I have to admit, this is the second time I’ve heard Him that clearly while watching basketball lol.
But more than anything, it feels like everywhere I go, God is revealing things—almost like He’s reading people’s mail around me. Not in a negative way, but in a way that brings clarity, understanding, and purpose.
It reminds me of the woman caught in the very act of adultery. Jesus didn’t focus on her sin—He focused on her outcome. He focused on what was true, what was powerful for her future. He emphasized forgiveness over the act itself.
That’s how He deals with the lost—with grace, with mercy, with restoration. But for believers, it’s different. He focuses on the trimming, the retooling, and the refining. And that process can be hard.
But the sword both corrects and sows.
Let that sink in.
