Sligo Young Adults

Sligo Young Adults In September 2015, Sligo’s Young Adult Department launched a new ministry called GLOW, an acronym for God Lighting Our World.

This ministry seeks to reach the Millennial generation by following God and cultivating a deep passion and commitment towards impacting the community around them. GLOW started with a weekly interactive Sabbath School program called GLOW Study that meets in Memorial Chapel. Through the blessing of God, the GLOW ministry grew and a subsequent ministry called GLOW Worship was established in September

, 2016. GLOW Worship is a monthly young adult worship service held in the Sligo Youth Room followed by homeless ministry outreach in downtown Washington DC. GLOW has also grown to include GLOW Groups, a ministry dedicated to creating community around the Word of God through young adults doing life together.
