💙This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice & be glad in it!🩷

🤪We had too much fun today with 6/7! We learned that while things of this world may be silly & purposeless, God never does anything without intention. We played 6-7 Bible Trivia (this was a great Bible Drill activity!), and looked up 6:7 verses to see how God did it first! We talked about 6 being the number of man & 7 being God’s number of perfection…one kid said “So, 6 is man & 7 is God, so Jesus was the first 6-7!” Loved that insight!

🙏🏻We also learned about prayer, how to listen for God’s voice in our lives, and that God hears our prayers & answers…although it may not be in the way we expect!

We are sliding into summer with excitement and joy! We were so thankful and blessed to spend this VINE school year with your kids and can’t wait to see them in September. We pray your summer is great!

Parents…….
We have a big goal and we’re about halfway there.!!! We want to see if all of our VINE kids can memorize the Fruits of the Spirit before our last VINE TIME this school year(May 6th).
So ask your kids if they can say their Fruits of the Spirit and if they can’t, help them memorize them so they can repeat it to one of the leaders at VINE, get their prize, and then we’ll all celebrate on the last night.

Tonight the kids got to hear from the mission team that went to Lesotho during the summer. It was neat to hear about what the team did while they were over there, what life is like over there and how Jesus is working.
The kids also got to learn a song the kids sing in Lesotho. (Video in the comments).

Last Wednesday we went old school and sang from the hymnals. First we taught them how to read a hymnal and then they learn a few “new” songs. It was a great night!

Parents …… what are your favorite hymns or songs(kiddy or worship) from when you were growing up? (Did you know your kid probably doesn’t know “Zachaeous was a wee little man”)
