Cornerstone Fellowship

Cornerstone Fellowship A non-denominational church in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
(271)

We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in p

ower and glory. We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord." We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit empowering and enabling the Christian to live a holy life in this present world, and to minister as Jesus did. We believe that Baptism is an ordinance of the Church. We believe in the resurrection of all men, both the saved and the lost. The saved shall be raised to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting condemnation.

Even though He could've chosen a more willing person, God stuck with Jonah. What Jonah didn't realize was that by God working through him, God was also working on him.

These evenings will be a beautiful time to connect with other women, grow in faith, and be encouraged through God’s Word. We’re excited to strengthen our prayer lives together and spend meaningful time in community. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our hearts are bursting with pride for the Tahlequah Outlaws and our very own members of His Masterpiece! They truly shined at this year’s Special Olympics, bringing home well-deserved medals. 🏅 Since several of these champions are part of our Cornerstone family, let’s shower them with love! When you see them, please offer a big high-five or a celebratory hug to honor their hard work.

Jonah didn’t run because he was afraid. He ran because he couldn’t stomach the thought of God showing mercy to Nineveh.

In Week 1 of his series on Jonah, Pastor Josh challenged us with a hard question: Is there anyone you’d be upset to see God forgive?

Jonah reminds us that disobedience always has a fare, past obedience doesn’t excuse present resistance, and God’s mercy reaches farther than we often want it to. But remember, Jonah isn’t the hero of the story - Jesus is the greater Jonah.

Jonah ran from his enemies, Jesus came for His.

Jonah resisted mercy for the guilty, Jesus purchased mercy for the guilty.

If you’re running, hiding sin, or resisting God’s call — come to Christ.

Jonah’s story is more than a man and a fish — it is the story of a prophet whose heart collided with the mercy of God. When God called Jonah to preach to Nineveh, Jonah ran not because he feared failure, but because he feared God might forgive his enemies. In this message, we examine where we may be resisting God’s call, withholding mercy, or running from obedience in our own lives.
