David is one of many talented members of the Shar-On Sandwich Social Group who dine nightly in the Parish Hall of St. Andrew's. David also played at the St. Andrew's Dedication of Our Lady of Guadalupe last Sunday! Thanks, David, for sharing your beautiful gift with us.

Sunday, March 31st Outdoor Mass and Dedication of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Taft, CA by Fr. Luis Rodriguez of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bakersfield. Below is local Taft artist, Justin Bishop, who, with guidance of Diocesan iconographer, Joyce Tanner, painted the renowned patron saint of the Americas and the homeless. This was followed by a Mexican-style fiesta dinner for our clients, cook and served by the great volunteers of the Shar-On Corporation!

This week's Bible Study will be Friday, March 22nd at 4:00 pm in a Parish Hall meeting room.

Thereafter, we will meet on Wednesdays at 4 pm (if this time works out for everyone), same place. I will have the schedule posted in the next few days.

Bible Study for Lent is based on the book by New York Times Bestselling Author, Pastor Jentezen Franklin, "Restart Your Heart: 21 Encouraging Devotions So You Can Love Like You've Never Been Hurt."

Discover the power of an open heart. You may feel that painful events and circumstances have caused your heart to flatline. You've been looking for a chance to change. You know something needs to be done. Hear God saying to you, "It's time." Give Him permission to begin a work of healing within you. It's time to restart your heart.

In this Lenten season, let's walk alongside one another into a new vision of reconciliation, healing and breakthrough. Together we can learn how to leave behind hurt and bitterness, with God's help, and instead choose love and forgiveness, to release unfathomable freedom and joy in Christ!

See me for the book we'll use. Everyone is welcome to join us!

Peace,
Susan Ohanneson
