🍬📖 BIBLE RELEASE TIME RECAP! 🙌✝️

We had another great week at Bible Release Time in Taft! ❤️

🙏 We kicked things off with prayer led by Amelia, with a little help from Mrs. Megan. What a wonderful way to begin our time together!

🍬 Then it was time for our Candy Quiz! The students put their knowledge to the test as we reviewed our catechism questions and revisited our previous lesson. Who says learning about God can’t be sweet? 😉

💧 Our Bible lesson of the week: The Baptism of Jesus! We dove into Scripture to learn about Jesus’ baptism and what baptism means. We love helping our students grow in their understanding of God’s Word and the life of Jesus!

🥨❤️ A BIG SHOUT-OUT TO WASTE HUNGER NOT FOOD! Thank you for your generous donation and for helping us care for our students! A special thank-you to Mr. David, Mrs. Sierra, and Ms. Sophia for preparing and distributing the snack bags. Your time, effort, and servant hearts make a difference! 🙌

📖🍬 Bible Release Time Taft: Growing in Truth & Wisdom!

We started today with prayer, reviewed our survey results, and had great conversations about biblical truth! 🙏✝️

🍬 Candy Quiz & the Ten Commandments! We put our catechism knowledge to the test with a little candy motivation! Who says learning God’s Word can’t be sweet? 😉

🏛️ Back to Jesus’ Story! We continued exploring Jesus’ adolescence, discovering Him in the temple during Passover (Luke 2:41–52). We talked about how Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man — and how we can grow in our own faith, too!

Our prayer is that these kids grow not just taller, but deeper in their knowledge of God and love for Jesus. ❤️

📖✨ Bible Release Time Recap! ✨📖

Another wonderful week of learning, growing, and discovering God’s Word together! ❤️🙌

🍬 Learning can be sweet! We kicked things off with a survey of beliefs to help us understand where our students are in their biblical learning journey and what topics need a little extra attention. Then we put our knowledge to the test with a fun candy quiz, reviewing our catechism questions and last week’s lesson! 🍭🍫

👶✝️ From there, we jumped into the story of Jesus as a baby and explored the meaning of Passover, connecting the dots as we continue learning the bigger story of God’s plan of redemption!

📖 Our junior high students were led by Mr. Alister as they dug into the daily verse, broke it down, and explored what God’s Word means for their lives. Way to go, JH crew! 💪

🥪 A HUGE shout-out to Waste Hunger Not Food! Thank you for helping us provide snacks for our students! David and Sophia have also been hard at work helping put together snack bags for our Bible Release Time students to take home. We are so grateful for generous hearts that help care for our kids both spiritually and practically! ❤️

🙌 THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers! Bible Release Time wouldn’t be possible without those who faithfully show up, serve our students, and pour into the next generation.

📖✨ Bible Release Time this week! ✨📖

We started with prayer and our Candy Quiz 🍬, reviewing our catechism questions all about who God is. Then we retold the incredible story of Jesus coming to Earth! 👶⭐️

The kids saw the Nativity story brought to life with some fun, kid-made slides 🎨📺 as we talked about Mary and Joseph, the hardships they faced under Herod’s persecution, and their journey to Egypt. We were reminded that even in difficult circumstances, God was faithfully at work. ❤️

We also continued working on our chalkboard timeline, and WOW—the kids did a beautiful job! 🎨👏 It’s so fun watching this story of God’s redemptive plan take shape right before our eyes.

A HUGE thank-you to all of our amazing Bible Release Time volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to love and serve these kids! ❤️

And a special thank-you to Waste Hunger Not Food, and to David and Sophia, for putting together snack bags for every Bible Release student to take home! 🥨🍎🎒 What a blessing!

📖✨ Bible Release Time! ✨📖

This week at Bible Release Time, we started by slowing down, sharing prayer requests, and coming before the Lord together. 🙏 We then jumped into our Candy Quiz, reviewing what we’ve been learning in the weeks prior. 🍬

Then it was time for another ride on our Bible Roller Coaster! 🎢📖 We looked at Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1, discovering the beautiful parallels between them and learning that Jesus is the Word—the Word who “became flesh and made his dwelling among us.”

We also built out our chalkboard and had a BLAST learning together!

Bible Release Time is back in action! 🍬📖

Week two was full of learning, reviewing, and a little candy-fueled fun! 😄

We kicked things off by reviewing what we learned on our first day—including our first two catechism questions and the 10 Commandments. And of course, we had to make review a little sweeter with a candy quiz! 🍭🍫

Then it was time to learn how to navigate the Bible! The students practiced finding books, chapters, and verses, and then we put those new skills to work by looking up one of the most famous verses in the Bible: John 3:16.

From there, we talked about what this powerful verse means and the good news of the Gospel—that God loved us, sent His Son Jesus, and offers salvation through Him. ❤️✝️

We’re only two weeks in, and we’re already learning, growing, and digging deeper into God’s Word! 🙌📖
