Thank you to everyone who donated markers.. we used them😉
Another thank you to everyone who came out to fill backpacks today (many hands makes the work go faster) Over 250 of them filled for kids in our community.. fabulous!

A BIG thank you to Megyn Skrobarcek (our local Wesleyan nurse) for all the work she does organizing and gathering up all of the local donations.. and then organizing us as we fill them..whew!

If you're able to help hand the backpacks out to the kids on Wednesday, meet at Petty Elementary at 3:45.. the more the merrier!

Our first trip to Market Days in Goliad was fabulous! 12 ladies braved the weather (we had a few downpours 😲) to enjoy a day in the company of friends, fun/quirky shopping, brisket sandwiches and tacos, and as usual.. oodles of laughter ☺️ We missed those of you that couldn't make it this time.. but never fear ~ we will make this trip again! Love you ladies ~ I'm so blessed to do life with you ♥️

Ladies.. this Saturday (July 10th) we are headed to Goliad for Market Days! That means shopping, lunch.. and maybe more shopping 😲☺️

We will leave the church at 9:30.. carpooling is available if you would like to share the ride😎 We will return by 3:00.

THIS TUESDAY ~ July 6 ~ VBS/KIDFEST BEGINS!!!

Every Tuesday night in July we will be hosting VBS ~ Kid Fest for kids that have finished kindergarten through 8th grade at First Baptist Church of Taft!
We will serve kids dinner at 5:30, followed by a fun filled program from 6 - 8:30. (Think Bible lessons, singing, crafts, games and snacks!)
EVERYONE is welcome.. tell your neighbors!
