That’s why a lot of new artists don’t have live bands because the cost of having a live band is so great that they put it in the box pre-tape the music because they’re trying to cut cost so they’ll make some money  managers still want their 10% booking agents want their 10% lawyers and accountants want their five or 10% that all comes out of the money so consequently when it gets to the artist it’s down to this if you do a gig for a 100,000 by the time you pay everything 50%of the money is gone you got to pay taxes out of your half now you have maybe 25 to pay rent to take care of your bills so now you have to go to work. The music business is a hard business they give you an advance to make records then you have to take part of your advance to make the record, but you don’t own anything and you paid for it so why is it not yours? It’s a trick bag before you know it. It too late. You signed the contract you got to fight to get treated right that’s why other artists sue take legal action because no one told you about the business of music . You owe it to yourself and your family to learn about the music business
