Sermon Series - A Heart for the King: The Life of David

Chosen by Grace:
God doesn’t choose the impressive—he chooses the unlikely. David is overlooked by everyone except the LORD, who sees his heart. In the same way, Jesus seeks out the overlooked and calls them his own. Your place in God’s kingdom isn’t based on your worthiness, but on his grace.

Sermon Series - A Heart for the King: The Life of David

This summer, we’ll walk through the life of David—a shepherd, warrior, king, and sinner—whose story is filled with both great faith and real failure. What made David unique was not his perfection, but how God shaped his heart through every season of life. Again and again, we’ll see God at work: choosing the unlikely, fighting for his people, calling them to trust him, and offering grace in their lowest moments. Most importantly, David’s life points beyond itself to Jesus, the true King, who fulfills every promise. As we follow David’s journey, we’ll see that God is shaping our hearts too, forming in us a deeper trust, repentance, and joy in his grace.

Join us on June 7 for worship at 9:30 AM as we begin a new sermon series on the life of David!

Holy Trinity Sunday: The first Sunday after Pentecost, Christians joyfully celebrate the mystery and wonder of God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three Persons united in one divine love. Trinity Sunday is a time of praise and thanksgiving for the ways God is present in creation, made known through Jesus Christ, and active in the Spirit moving among believers today. This day celebrates the unity, love, and communion at the heart of the Trinity, inviting us to share in that divine life and reflect it in the world.

Faith in the Triune God: Life in the kingdom is characterized by faith in the triune God from beginning to end. We and all the world were created by the Father, redeemed by his Son, and live by his Spirit. Everything that was, is and will be belongs to him, and has been shown the glory of his nature in Christ Jesus, and received of his abundant life through the Spirit in his word. For all these gifts we praise him today.

Join us for Holy Trinity Sunday on May 31 at 9:30 AM!

Sermon Series: Identity Revealed - Jesus Is the Light

The prophet Isaiah vividly described humanity as “people walking in darkness.” Then he foretold that a light would shine on them.

Our Savior is the Light of the world, and we reflect his light onto everyone around us.

Let’s celebrate Him this Sunday in worship!

Sermon Series: Identity Revealed - Jesus Is the Lamb of God

For centuries Israel offered sacrifices to God for sin. Over and over, a substitute shed its blood to earn forgiveness. Then Jesus appeared, the Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world. Connected to him by faith, you have a new perspective and new motivation for living a Christian life.

Hear about Jesus’ sacrifice for all mankind. Join us for worship this weekend!
