Worship is central to our lives as followers of Jesus Christ, and it is filled with joy. We follow and serve a God who delights in us, and time at Mount Cross feels good. Renewal takes place in prayer, study, rest, and friendship, and we believe that all of these things are intrinsic to a life of discipleship. We value questions above answers, invite difference, and are counter-cultural in valuing
rest and relationship over busy-ness and productivity. A life lived with Jesus is a life of peace and richness. Reaching out of these walls to our community is the first best way we love Jesus back. Here at Mount Cross we provide transitional housing, provide meals to fill school lunch gaps, support asylum seekers, offer crisis space to our neighboring high school, serve kids through a free theater camp, and give freely of our funds, our time, and our love. We believe that we are the hands, feet, heart, and voice of Jesus Christ in the world and that he told us where to find and serve him -- in human beings who are struggling, poor, incarcerated, sick, cold, lonely, anxious, or grieving. You are welcome here. Whether your faith brings you joy or you are filled with doubt and questions, whether you are in need of spiritual renewal or you are eager to give -- Mount Cross is a vibrant place ready to enfold you as you are today into community.
