Dear Ones:
As we go through this time of transition, it is important for us to develop a greater depth of intimacy with the Lord. Like Jesus, we are only to say what we hear the Father say and do what we see the Father do. But to accomplish this it means entering into and abiding in His presence until He’s ready to use us. We no longer adopt the appearance or patterns of the church but exhibit the true likeness of Christ. No more performances, be completely transformed into His image and likeness. When the world looks at you, they see Him. Our responsibility is to bring people to the knowledge of Christ but how do we do this when we’re acting like somebody else? There can no longer be any compromise because when it comes to God there is no gray areas, there’s only right or wrong, black or white, good or evil. “So, because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16. Things are happening quickly. It’s time for change and you can’t continue walking on that thin line of compromise. “Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you wavier between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; But if Baal is God, follow him; but the people said nothing.” 1 kings 18:21. It’s time to make a choice.

Dear Ones:
I’m having a difficult time motivating myself to start writing again largely due to the stupidity of people I see in the news. The unbelievable things they are actually saying and doing. To make things worse there are people that support what they’re saying and agree with what they’re doing. I have a hard time understanding how they can argue about the about the validity of these things. Sometimes I feel it would be simpler to watch Gods judgement unfold and rid us of all this foolishness, maybe then, people would listen. It’s not just the unsaved doing this but there are people who claim to be saved that are supporting this agenda as well. God demands that we be separated from the world in the way we think and the things we do. Many of you are caught up in your own agendas and worried about getting ahead. You’re more concerned with your appearance and notoriety than doing the right thing. You’re still seeking the approval of men and the acceptance of the world. You’re not here to build up your portfolio but to promote the Kingdom of God. Your problem has always been and still is that you don’t know God and, therefore, you feel no obligation to fulfill the call of God on your life. God is doing a new thing and you’re missing it because you’re still doing what you’ve always done: whatever benefits you. God is calling you out of the darkness and the hidden places and putting you where you will begin to thrive. Many of you are being planted exactly where you need to be to grow and to learn while being prepared for the things you were created to do. It’s time to stop believing the lies you’ve been listening to, especially the ones you’ve spoken over your own life. God has created you for great things and has no doubt about you fulfilling His plan for your life. It’s time to start listening to the One who made you and loves you. It’s time to start loving Him back. “We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19. Let your relationship with God become the most important thing in your life. “You shall have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3. It’s time to learn who God is and to know who He created you to be.

Dear Ones:
The tide has turned and our world is changing and it has become more and more violent as a result. The Lord is restoring order in our world and because of this the enemy has become more desperate to maintain his control over mankind. He has convinced men over the centuries to turn away from God and to be more reliant on their own ability to resolve the issues they face. He’s convinced many people over the years they are their own god and they have closely followed in his footsteps. The devil was impressed by his stature and appearance and sought to establish himself above God. This eventually led to his fall from heaven. Since then, he has convinced other’s to do the same thing: reject God and believe they are in control of their own lives. I have watched as people have become consumed by this mindset of demanding things be the way they think they should be. People that are angry with the way things are and believe they have all the answers. They are miserable and have decided to make others’ lives miserable as well especially if their thinking doesn’t line up with theirs. They have become closed minded and void of rational thinking. While buying into the rhetoric being spewed by non-believers and rejecting truth. The truth, of course, is we are unable to do anything without God and we would be foolish to believe otherwise. It is God that gives us life, breath and being, so without Him, we would not exist. There is only one answer and it’s the same one it’s always been: Jesus. He’s already paid the price for our freedom so there’s no reason to be afraid. We walk by faith not by sight, understanding that there is no weapon formed against us that shall prosper. If God is for us then who can be against us? If we resist the enemy then he will flee, understanding, we recognize our victory has already been secured. Stop believing the lies the enemy continues to tell us. Know that what he means for evil God will work for our good. With Christ we have the answer to every problem, there is nothing too big for Him. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. This is where we put our trust no matter what the enemy does. Your conversation reveals the true level of your faith. When we pray we should never make a backup plan. Either we believe God will answer our prayers or He won’t. Let not a double minded man think he’ll receive anything. Either we believe God or we don’t. There are no ifs, ands or buts. As for me and my house we will trust in the Lord.

Dear Ones:
There are many things we need to know if we’re going to successfully carry out the plans of God for our lives. The only way to accomplish this is by knowing the Word of God for ourselves. Whether you read it or listen to it audibly, you need to know what it says. Because they don’t read the Bible many people don’t recognize the authority they’ve been given or the power they possess. Therefore, they walk around feeling unqualified and they are unaware of the potential buried deep within them. Sadly, the majority of these people will pass away never experiencing the true reason for their existence. Throughout the Word of God we read about ordinary people that God used to do extraordinary things and yet people like us would never believe God would be able to use us to do something amazing. And this is exactly what He did. He said He knew us before He formed us in our mother’s wombs and created us in His image and likeness. We’ve been created to be a reflection of Him and to impact the world around us. Affective ministry isn’t produced by eloquent words but it is the result of a Christ-like lifestyle lived out before others. It’s not good enough to just talk the talk but it’s time for us to walk the walk. Go into all the world and preach the gospel and when all else fails, use words.

Dear Ones:
As we come together to celebrate Thanksgiving I pray that our focus will be on the goodness of God and not on the evil works of men. Be thankful for His answers to your prayers and His abundant blessing on your lives. It really bothers me when I hear all the whining and complaining about how bad things are. Rarely do I hear anything positive come from your mouth and yet you wonder why God doesn’t answer your prayers. Well, it might just be your attitude. “You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” James 4:2-3. There is much more to be thankful for than there is to complain about but it all comes down to what you’re focused on. The majority of the things you fuss about have nothing to do with you and yet you make it personal. I pray that you will sit down and take time to examine your life and realize how truly blessed you are. That you will take the time to thank God for everything He’s done, everything He does and everything He will do for you. “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:19 You have more to be thankful for than you could ever imagine.

Dear Ones:
It’s time to put an end to our compromised lifestyles and to make up our minds about who we’re going to serve. “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20: 2-4. The children of Israel struggled to comply with these particular commandments and would inevitably suffer the consequences of their decisions. Their sin was worshipping different gods and establishing alters and high places to sacrifice to these gods. They were warned time after time to repent from these practices which they eventually did but only after suffering from the consequences of their actions. The punishment would often vary from plagues, famine or droughts which led to thousands of deaths. At other times they suffered defeat at the hands of their enemies and were dragged into exile to remain in captivity for decades. This has been a part of Israel’s history since the conception of the commandments. The book of Judges gives us several examples of this behavior and we have a tendency to fall into the same trap. We continue to putting things before God and have allowed them to become idols in our lives. God said we shall not put anything before Him and that includes ourselves. The only way to please God is through total surrender to His will and to His ways. “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15. There’s only one God.

Dear Ones:
Did you know that God calls us priest? 1 peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you declare the praise of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” We are told to separate ourselves from the things of this world and to commit ourselves to serving God. This is to be our portion in the kingdom of God. I know what most of you are thinking, but what about my plans, my dreams or my aspirations? No one is saying you have to accept this responsibility. You have the right to serve God or not. He will not force you to do anything but instead He provides you with opportunities to make a choice. But you must understand, that making the wrong choices produces disobedience, which in turn, brings consequences. It will always be your choice whether or not you obey Him. Through all of this, remember, you were created for His pleasure not yours. “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11. Like children, many of you will say it’s not fair, but let me ask you was it fair when He suffered an excruciating death for your sins. So get over yourself and recognize there is nothing you can do to earn or deserve the price He paid. He deserves more than your pitiful, pseudo Christian lifestyle, pretending to be sold out. He deserves you’re total submission, total surrender and complete obedience, as well as, all the praise you can muster. Instead of giving God five or ten minutes of your day in prayer or constantly begging God for something: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1Thessalonians 5:16-18. This is the least you can do for Him especially after all He’s done for you.

Dear Ones:
“For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.” John 12:4 You don’t have to agree with the things I say, that’s your prerogative. My responsibility is to relay the truth of God’s Word as it is released into my spirit. I don’t get offended by your disapproval because I understand you’re not rejecting me but rather you’re refusing to listen to or obey the Word of God. Trust me I’d rather you be mad at me than to have God disappointed with me. Our lives are not measured by our popularity but by our obedience to the Word of God. He is no longer satisfied by halfhearted efforts of Christianity. God is looking for those that are totally surrendered. He’s told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel, otherwise, how will they know? “How shall they call on Him whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good thing!” Romans 14-15. We’re all called to preach, make disciples and to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The problem is you’ve bought into the lies and believe you’re not qualified to be used by God. Instead of being like Isaiah. “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8. We should be all about spreading the gospel and bringing people to a place of repentance. It’s our responsibility to come into His presence and to hear His voice and to share it with all those who will listen. It’s our responsibility to help usher in the Kingdom of God by sharing the good news. God says He will not return until every person has had the opportunity to respond to the call of salvation. There is at least one person you’re supposed to share the gospel with, what are you waiting for?

Dear Ones:
“Jesus gave them this answer: Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” John 5:19. How can you do the works of God if you can’t see Him? You must be able to see in the spirit to know what God is doing. We live in a natural world, one consisting of flesh and blood and yet we also exist in a spiritual realm. We are both flesh and blood and spirit at the same time. “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7. After the fall, man lost that ability to walk in both realms until God sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in the heart of man. A form of death took away our ability to walk in both and another’s death restored that ability to do both. After Jesus death and resurrection, God sent His Spirit to live in those that believed. “They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:3-4. The indwelling of the Spirit gives us the ability to enter the presence of God and there be made aware of the movements of God. As a follower of Christ we’re expected to live like Jesus did and His ultimate goal was to complete the work He was sent to do. We are never asked to play church but to be His church. We, like the disciples, are told to go out and to do what we have seen Him do. “The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.” Matthew 11:5. How do we accomplish these things without having a relationship with Jesus? We don’t. We can only do these things through His power. “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13. We should constantly thrive to deepen our relationship with Christ and to fulfill His commandments. This requires spending time with Him and remaining in His presence to know His will.

Dear Ones:
Most people have grown up with some form of dysfunction in their lives, which has led to struggles with their identity and self-esteem. This makes it difficult to have meaningful relationships. Most find it hard to trust those who say they love them, when those who were supposed to love them failed to do so. They grew up never knowing what a loving relationship looks like and these people grew up with a strong sense of insecurity. This has always been a part of the devils plan to destroy God’s creation: the family unit. The Word of God says to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. He is our heavenly Father and we are His children. Our natural family should be a reflection of this spiritual relationship. “Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise: “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Ephesians 6:2-3. Ephesians also speaks to fathers telling them: “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4. This is far different than most of us were raised. Yet this is what God intended from the beginning. He created man and then He created woman and commanded them to go forth and multiply, therefore establishing the family. The devil is intent on destroying the family unit, because it’s an attempt to get back at God for kicking him out of heaven. Most people don’t understand that they are a child of God and that He calls us His sons and daughters. Most people see themselves as having no value or purpose but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. God has created each and every one of us for a reason, everything and everyone matters. God created man for relationship. “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.” Genesis 1:27. We were created differently than any other created beings. More like God and different from the angelic beings. The devil doesn’t want us to understand this unique relationship between us and God, because if we did, he’d have no power over us. But through lies and deception people have become self-absorbed and removed from having meaningful relationships. It’s time to wake up and recognize the truth of who you are: a child of God. It’s time to establish His kingdom. We were created to rule, reign and to have dominion, not to beg or grovel. God has given us everything we need to succeed and it’s up to us whether we’re going to be a pauper or a prince, royalty or a slave? The choice is yours.

Dear Ones:
You feel as though you’ve been getting beat up lately and wishing it would end. This attack is meant to discourage you and cause you to resign. The enemy knows that God has been preparing you for this precise moment in time to accomplish all that God has created you to do. He has been grooming and preparing you in the hidden place to develop the skills necessary for you to walk in the authority that He’s giving you. You will begin seeing things differently and respond to them according to the Spirit rather than your old ways of doing things. You are becoming more dangerous to the plans of the enemy as you begin to reveal the truth hidden in his lies. The world will recognize you serving the one true God as you begin to move in signs, wonders and miracles. They will witness the power of God manifested in your life and hear His authority in your voice. But this comes with a price: total submission. He wants to be Lord of your Life. No more compromised lifestyle. Get rid of your false idols, end those unhealthy relationships and consecrate yourself unto the Lord. From now on don’t let anything separate you from His presence. You were created for a time such as this, rise up and walk in your victory. “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13.

Dear Ones:
When people tell me they don’t know what the call of God is on their life, I find this interesting because the Word of God tells us that we’re responsible to preach the gospel, make disciples and to baptize people in the name of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We are called to be the reflection of Christ and to be both the salt and the light in this dark and evil world. So why not start there and then see what else God might have planned for us? Luke 16:10 says, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Most people are seeking a title or some type of platform, which makes it more about us than it does about God. We must recognize that all God is looking for are willing vessels. “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I, send me!” Isaiah 6:8. God is looking for people who will fulfill His commands which is to go into all the world and to establish His Kingdom. Twice, before His death, Jesus sent His disciples out into the world and told them to go and do the things they seen Him do. They were amazed by what they experienced. Those that were sick were made whole, the blind received their sight and the lame walked. They said, even the evil spirits obeyed their voice. This is what God has called us to do. “The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8. We are called to be an example of Him in our world. We need to recognize that alone we are nothing but with God we are a powerful force. Jesus was only one man and He changed the world. God is looking for those who will go out and make a difference, will that be you? Will you be like Isaiah and say to the Lord, “Here am I, send me Lord.”
