Happy Juneteenth, Rock City Family!
Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, truth, and hope.
Juneteenth reminds us that freedom delayed is still worth fighting for, and freedom received is worth celebrating. It is a day to honor the faith, courage, and determination of those who kept believing in a better tomorrow, even when the road was long.
As people of faith, we remember that God is always at work bringing liberation, healing, and new life. We give thanks for those who came before us, whose sacrifices made room for us to stand where we are today.
And friends, I want to personally invite you to join us tomorrow for worship. It is going to be a very special gathering as we celebrate Juneteenth, reflect on what freedom means in our lives today, and remember that Christ has set us free—not just for ourselves, but for love.
Come expecting good music, meaningful conversation, authentic community, and a word that speaks to both the heart and the times we are living in.
