Ash Wednesday is on St. Valentine’s Day, February 14. Mass times at St. Joseph Tacoma will be:
8:00 a.m. Sung Mass
12:00 p.m. Low Mass
6:30 p.m. Low Mass

You can’t spell VaLENTine without LENT.

On First Friday, February 2, the Feast of Candlemas, a procession followed by a Sung Mass will take place at 8:00 a.m. Candles will be blessed following the Mass. Candles need to be labeled with your name, contain at least 51% beeswax, and be given to a server prior to the Mass in order to be blessed.

Holy Hour will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

A Low Mass will be offered at 6:30 p.m

On New Year’s Day, January 1, the Mass schedule at St. Joseph in Tacoma is as follows:
8:00 a.m. Low Mass
10:30 a.m. Sung Mass
Since New Year’s Day falls on a Monday this year, it is not a holy day of obligation; however, Mass attendance is strongly encouraged.

The Feast of Corpus Christi is tomorrow, Thursday, June 8. St. Joseph in Tacoma will have a Sung Mass at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Corpus Christi procession. A Low Mass will be offered at 6:30 p.m.
