Charles Borromeo Parish was formed in 1956 under the leadership of Fr. The parish secured the present site and built a temporary church; what we now use today as the social hall and lunch room. Construction of a rectory, convent, and 16 classrooms soon followed. Francis of Philadelphia assumed administrative and teaching duties for the parish school, and on September 3, 1958, St. Charles Borromeo
School opened with six sisters teaching 200 students in grades one through six. The school is now run by Principal Beth O'Reilly and 52 faculty and staff supporting 630+ students in Preschool through eighth grade. The school continues to stress a traditional, rigorous, Catholic education enhanced by a modern environment that includes a gymnasium, student resource room, music room, world language room, computer lab, science lab, and state-of-the-art library.
