Even in darkest of nights, Jesus Christ can be our light. He bore our sins, overcame death, and rose again in order to perfectly understand how we feel and how best to comfort and support us. Turn to Him, seek after Him, love Him, and turn on the light.

I'm so grateful for the last 7 months I have been out here. I have been able to come closer to my heavenly father and he has shown me that he loves each and every one of us. These past 7 months have been pretty challenging at times, but it has also had some of the best experiences, people and places I have ever experienced in my life. When I'm feeling like the work is just pounding me into the ground or I'm working with someone that is giving me a hard time there are always people around me that are on the same mission they are there to help lift us up when times get tough. I can't even explain how grateful I am for the family I've had back home but also the family I have out here.
I never thought I could come closer to God. I never wanted to. I thought my relationship was fine as it was. But what I didn't realize I that when I got out here I was immediately realizing if I was going to survive I needed a solid connection with God. And I was discouraged at first but as I started accepting God and the people he put in my path to either help me learn something or to lift me up when things got hard. God didn't send us down here to suffer or to have hard times just because he felt like it. He sent us down here so we can learn and grow and become better then we are now and better then we were. God gives us family so we can rely on them and be able to be safe. Family doesn't have to be blood related, it is those people that help you get through life that otherwise if they weren't there it would make it unbearably harder.

"He is with us through those whom we love." I thank all of you who have helped me through tough times and have been there for me even though you were going through your own trials. I love you all!! In Jesus Christ's name amen.
