Today we honor and celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, hope, and the enduring faithfulness of God.
On June 19, 1865, the news of emancipation finally reached enslaved African Americans in Texas, marking a historic moment of liberation and a powerful reminder that freedom is precious and worth celebrating.
As a church, we pause to thank God for His grace, His justice, and His sustaining power throughout generations. We remember the sacrifices of those who endured hardship, stood for truth, and paved the way for future generations.
Happy Juneteenth from TLCTC! May we always cherish freedom, honor history, and trust God's plan for the future.
