Earlier this month, our Youth Group had the privilege of honoring our senior saints with a memorable medieval banquet celebration.

The back auditorium was transformed into a medieval banquet hall, creating the perfect setting for an evening filled with fellowship and entertainment inspired by a bygone era. Guests enjoyed a medieval-inspired menu while sharing in a special night of appreciation.

We are thankful for everyone who helped make this wonderful event such a meaningful celebration for our senior saints.

What a wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth during our Women Encouraging Women series, The Art of Welcome: Walking the Way of Jesus Through Hospitality inspired by 1 Peter 4:8-9.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us on April 17 and April 24, and we extend a special thank you to Vivian Carter of Collingswood Church of Christ and Renee Cutts of Tabernacle Church of Christ for their inspiring messages and encouragement.

It was truly a blessing to gather together as women of faith and reflect on the importance of Christ-centered hospitality and love.

On Saturday, January 10th, 2026, the men of the Tabernacle Church of Christ got together to kick off the year ahead with praise and worship to God. It was a reset, a refresh, a remembrance, and a renewed commitment to walk faithfully in the year ahead.

We shared good food, meaningful conversation, and time in God’s word, encouraging one another to lead with humility, serve with love, and grow in spiritual strength. Moments like these remind us that faith is not meant to be lived alone, but together in fellowship and purpose.

Grateful for every man who showed up and contributed to the spirit of the morning. Thank you to our guest preacher, Rodney Plunkett. Thank you to Greg Gongora for sharing his story. Thank you to Irv Reynolds for leading the charge on getting the guys together. Thank you for all the great food. Thanks to God for giving us His Son and blessing us with so many faithful men. Looking forward to what God will do in and through us in the months ahead.

This morning, we were encouraged by guest speaker Derrick Busch from the Collingswood Church of Christ, who reminded us that holiness still matters to God.

Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 4:1–8, he shared that holiness means being set apart—distinct and pure—even when the world doesn’t understand it. Just as the early church in Thessalonica endured persecution yet flourished, we’re called to live for Christ, even when it’s not easy.

Remember:

1. God is more concerned about our holiness than our happiness.

2. Prepare your mind for action (1 Peter 1:13)

3. If it’s a temptation, fall in love with Jesus Christ.

Through the sanctification process, God uses every experience to shape us into His likeness. The Holy Spirit is working in us to make us holy—because once we’ve heard the Word of God, we’re called to live it.

In John 4:31–38, after speaking with the Samaritan woman, Jesus reminds His disciples that His nourishment comes from doing God’s work—and that both those who sow and those who reap share in the joy of the harvest.

At Wednesday night Bible class, we talked about how we can each take part in that work together, serving and growing as one community in faith. We’d love for you to join our community! Come Sunday! Bible Class at 10 AM / Worship at 11 AM

What makes a hero? Some may think of figures such as Superman or Batman, with their physical strength to overcome their enemies.

True heroism isn’t just about strength though; it’s about growth, kindness, and sympathy. Just like Jesus grew physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually (Luke 2:40,52), we, too, can follow his example to live in a worthy manner

Heroes have the strength to choose good over evil, the kindness to love others (1 John 3:18; John 9:1-6), and the sympathy to help those in need (Luke 7:11-16).

Join us to grow together in God’s Word:

A vacuum shows what’s really hidden—it looks “not too bad” until all the dirt is revealed.

Our lives are the same. Scripture says, “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.” (Hebrews 4:13)

Through communion, we admit our true condition and remember: Jesus has cleansed us and paid the price. “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” (John 13:8)

Thomas is often remembered as “Doubting Thomas.” But was that really who he was?

When Jesus called His disciples to go to Lazarus, it was Thomas who said, “Let us also go, that we may die with him” (John 11:16). That sounds more like courage than doubt. Later, it was Thomas who asked the hard question in John 14: “How can we know the way?”—and because of that question, we have Jesus’ powerful answer: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

Thomas’s story reminds us that we are not defined by a label, a reputation, or even our name. We are defined by our choice to follow Jesus—even when it means asking questions, facing conflict, or stepping into difficulty.

When Jesus and our conveniences come into conflict, who wins?

Are we willing to choose Him, even when it costs us?

We may not face persecution or death, but like Thomas, we can still choose courage and faith in Christ.
