Dear Faith Formation Families,
As we end the Faith Formation year, I can honestly say that I am proud, relieved and somewhat amazed that we were able to successfully offer and complete Virtual classes this year. I learned a lot about technology (still am), patience and letting go of situations that I could not control…Overall, however, I feel that this year was a success in so many ways.
Thank you, parents, for your patience and support as we attempted to teach the Faith in a whole new way! We had several “techy challenges” that made my heart skip a beat but we persevered and got through them. However, the story doesn’t end here. You are the primary teachers of their faith and please continue to listen and support your child. We have planted the seed. Please help them make it grow. The Faith Formation team is always available to help guide you and support you with educating your child. We are a phone call or email away.
Thank you, students, for completing a unique and challenging year! Thank you for watching, participating and attending classes. You are an inspiration to all of us and an example of perseverance during a challenging time in history. I am in awe of all you!
Thank you, teachers, for your commitment to teaching EDGE and Confirmation. Although at times it felt impersonal, you did an amazing job. You took on the challenge and created a loving and supportive environment for our students, with emphasis on building a relationship with God. Relationships were established and respected. Small group discussions and comments were encouraged and supported. Huge challenge! Successfully done!
Lastly, I would like to thank the incredible Faith Formation team, whose commitment to educating our Holy Family children is second to none! You are the hardest working team and your efforts sometime go unnoticed. Trust me, they are not! Nick, Kris, Vince and Patty-you are an example of faith in action and a role model for all. God bless all of you!
