The Great Easter Vigil:

The most solemn and beautiful ceremony of the Church's year begins on Saturday April 4th at 3pm at St. Mary's Shrine. Join us in celebrating Our Lord's triumph over sin and death!

We begin with blessing of the new fire and the Exultet followed by the prophecies and the baptisms of our catechumens. After the Litany of the Saints, the ceremony concludes with Holy Mass and Vespers. Booklets will be provided to help all those attending to follow the ceremony.

Easter baskets blessed after Mass.

Pictured: this year's Easter candle, made by our own Abbé Nicholas. The candle is designed to reflect the architectural features of our church. Come see it in action at the Easter Vigil!

Another successful pilgrimage to Indian Hill Monument starting at Transfiguration at 530am for 14 miles. Indian Hill is the site of the first ever Catholic Mass to be held in what would become NY state. The date was also connected to the Syracuse Martyrs, a number of Huron converts to the faith martyred by the Iroquois. Thanks to Fr. Dennis Walker for celebrating Mass and of course Fr. Schultz for organizing as usual.
