Good morning:

Hebrews13: 5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”

Matt.28:20b I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

A simple exegetical & eisegetical extraction from these two Bible verses are as follows;
Regardless of your flaws and past
indelicacies, and despite how people may respond by turning their backs on you, the LORD says, I will never leave or forsake you.
Isn’t it good to know that God isn’t like people and will not desert, unfriend or unfollow you due to past indiscretions.
Type amen if you know the Lord has your back..

Thoughts 💭 to Ponder.
Yes I’m well aware that we’re in the dispensation of grace but could it be that the church of today is using the dispensation of grace as a crutch?
As I am considering these things a song from the Winans came to mind,

Roman’s 5:20 states “But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more; ROM. 6:1 goes on to say “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not!”

So I then considered Leviticus 10:10 that states “that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean,”
As we look at the state (status) of the church, is this still applicable?

What does that look like in the 21st century church?

As I Ponder, these thoughts a song from the Winans came to mind

“ Are we really doing Your Will”

“Sin IS Sin”

Sometimes as humans we make distinctions of or label one sin(acts of disobedience against God) as worse than others. In other words big sins versus little sins; ie little white lie vs big black lie (if there is such a thing); people even have the tendency to look at/judge some people sinful acts differently than others, especially when it comes to family; when their child does something wrong, (please pray for my baby, they going through. ) When your child does something wrong;( “now that’s a shame”they should know better than that).
If their child has a baby out of wedlock, that baby becomes the best grand-baby in the world; if someone else’s has a child out of wedlock, awww (as they wag their head) “that’s ridiculous and pathetic!”
It appears to be quite easy for some to cast judgement off on others, than it is to judge one’s own self. I guess you can call that self love, self-preservation or caring for one’s own personal interests. I call it selfishness and hypocrisy!

But what does the scripture say?
1John 5:17(a)KJV All unrighteousness is sin;
NIV. All wrongdoing is sin.
I guess when it comes down to it, in the eyes of the all knowing and all seeing GOD there is no difference in your sins or my sins; therefore(unlike humans) with God there is no respect of person. It’s time that we get on God’s way of thinking and righteously judging.

Words of Encouragement:

There are times in life that everyone can use an encouraging word;
The word encourage means to contribute to the progress or growth; to
inspire with confidence; give hope or courage to; spur on;
In Psalms 40, David said why art thou cast down oh my soul? Why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in GOD! I shall yet praise HIM who is the help of my countenance and my GOD.

Finally, I’ll share this reading;
“So, what should you do when you’re going through difficult times?
First, you refuse to be discouraged. Then, you remember God is with you. Finally, you rely on God’s protection and guidance.
We all go through difficult times. The difference for those who believe in Jesus is not the absence of the shadow but the presence of the Light.” En Quote

“FOUNDER’S DAY APPRECIATION”
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Matthew 16:18 “upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

In a day when many leaders are quick to say “my members” or “my church”, we need reminders of who the flock of God actually belongs to. 1 Peter 5
It’s GOD’S church.

“Sometimes we need reminders that All Have Sinned and have fallen short!”
The individuals who are guilty of the little white lies cannot boast that they are better than gossipers; neither should the thief or robber feel they deserve more grace & mercy from the Lord than the murder or ra**st!
Yes brothers and sisters, there are some acts of sin that are more egregious than others; however when it comes to holiness, when we all stand before a God whose very characteristic exudes holiness, sin is sin my friend!
I am sometimes, baffled when I see some look with disdain at others who have fallen from grace.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; what does that mean? Basically it means that we all need Christ the savior; furthermore, all encompasses everyone; therefore, no one is excluded!
We all need the same mercy, grace and compassion that abundantly flows from the Lord!
Hebrews 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. I’m glad that the Lord extends this opportunity to all and that all includes little ole me!!!!
