Lutheran Campus Ministry Syracuse/SUNY ESF LCM was founded in 1913 as a way for Lutheran students and their friends to gather for fellowship and support on the Syracuse University campus.

Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) at Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF is a diverse, progressive, and inclusive religious community dedicated to the care, well-being, education, and engagement for all people. LCM continues to be an open community of worship, growth and support. As a part of the Hendricks Chapel community, it is one of many interfaith chaplaincies to minister to the needs of the univer

sity community. Lutheran Campus Ministry is a part of Hendricks Chapel -- a home for all faiths, a place for all people. LCM's broad ministry includes students, faculty, staff, and the greater Syracuse community through worship, support, fellowship, and service. LCM encourages spiritual growth among students who connect with the community, regardless of their faith tradition, through a variety of fellowship activities including Bible Study, Worship, Faith Conversations, and weekly Community Dinners at Koinonia House (KHouse)

All call for help setting up for the fete! We need helpers who can pretty up baskets for raffles, hang lights in the garden and prep the main floor for fun!

Due to recent air quality that has impacted our ability to safely prepare and hold our Summer Fete on July 24, we have had to reschedule to August 21st.
If you have purchased tickets, we will reach out to see if you wish to transfer to the new date or receive a refund.
We are still welcoming baskets and raffle items- please reach [email protected] asap to let us know if you have one to donate so we can now include that in our event PR.

Feature Friday! 2025/26 Grant Recipient: Lutheran Campus Ministry Syracuse/SUNY ESF & Campus Connect

Lutheran Campus Ministry in Syracuse supports marginalized students struggling to afford housing and food by hosting a weekly dinner group. Students work together to purchase groceries, prepare food, and host the meal. Funding from the BMGLF grant was used to support these weekly meals for students during the academic year, ensuring that they are well fed for at least one night a week and offering students an opportunity to build community.
