"How you treat people shows how you relate to God," said Lou Clark, the human rights champion whose memorial service was last Saturday. "I wouldn't have the job I have today if it weren't for Mr. Clark," said Mayor Sharon Owens during her remembrance of her mentor and former supervisor. Other speakers included Marion Ervin, Vivian Moore, Walt Dixie, Lisa Alford, Paul DeLima, Judy Adams, Susan Keeter, Lois Wilson, Suzanne Mettler, Barbara Slater, Josie Atkins, and Lou's son, Adam. Audrey Zaccarya played music.

The Grace Church family is mourning the loss of our beloved Lou Clark, a champion of human rights and a dear friend. A celebration of his life will be held this Saturday, May 30, at Grace Church.

Mayor Sharon Owens came to see food justice at work at our Interfaith Community Collective, located in the Methodist church on the corner of E. Genesee St. and University Ave. Mayor Owens was greeted by Grace's Audrey Zaccarya , vice president of the Collective, and her kids Julian and Ellie. The collective gives out clothes on Thursdays, food on Friday, and meals on the weekends. Blessings abound!

A beautiful Easter service at Grace. Our young men led the procession, a baby and an adult were baptized, a birthday was celebrated, the music was magnificent, and the Easter egg hunt was delightful! Love this church family!
