Today, we joyfull celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood for Father Dennis Walker and Father Brendan Foley!

For five years, they have faithfully served Christ and His Church, generously sharing their gifts in ministry and helping others grow in their relationship with the Lord. Along the way, both have been strong supporters of vocations in our diocese, encouraging young people to listen for God's call and supporting those discerning their vocation.

Their witness of joyful priesthood serves as a reminder that God continues to call men and women to serve His Church in many ways.

Please join us in congratulating Father Dennis and Father Brendan on this special milestone and in praying for them as they continue their priestly ministry in the years ahead. Ad multos annos!

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 25th Anniversary to the Priesthood for our Director of Seminarian Formation, Father Richard Prior!

Over the last 25 years, Father Prior has faithfully accompanied and guided many young men discerning God's call to the priesthood. Through his leadership, encouragement, wisdom, and witness of joyful priestly service, he has been a tremendous role model and influence for many of our seminarians and an unwavering supporter of vocations throughout our diocese.

We are deeply grateful for Father Prior's faithful service to Christ and His Church and for the many lives he has touched along the way.

Please join us in congratulating Father Prior and praying for him as he continues his ministry. Ad multos annos!

TONIGHT! Join us for the Annual Holy Hour for Vocations with Bishop Lucia as we continue to celebrate the World Day of Prayer for Vocations.

In a recent study of newly ordained priests, 75% shared that they regularly spent time in Eucharistic Adoration before entering formation; a powerful reminder that Christ speaks to hearts in the silence of His presence. The Eucharist is truly the source and summit of every vocation.

Come spend time with the Lord and join our diocesan family in praying for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

All are welcome!

On this World Day of Prayer for Vocations, we turn to the Lord with hopeful hearts, asking Him to call more men to serve His Church as priests.

The need is great, and the harvest is abundant. We invite you to join us in praying fervently for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and men who will generously give their lives in service to God and His people.

Pray for those who may be hearing God’s call, that they may respond with courage and trust. Pray for our seminarians as they continue their formation. And pray that more hearts will be open to the quiet invitation of Christ.

“Ask the Master of the harvest to send out laborers for His harvest.”
