We exist to empower students to be the church wherever they go.

We are a Christian organization at Syracuse University, where we serve students, staff and faculty through chaplaincy, collegiate church and student organization.

This spring our students at Christian Outreach and Campus Church have taught at church, spearheaded outreach initiatives, shared the hope of Jesus on a mission trip and served others in many ways.

Our semester theme is "Counting the Cost"! Students are choosing to publicly profess their faith in Jesus by getting baptized. Students, staff and faculty continue to drop by Office Hours, hosted by both Devon (chaplain/pastor) and Sophie (assistant chaplain). Student leaders speak of Jesus in front of peers, and in professional settings. Fall semester has begun with leader training, Welcome Week and Campus Church. Let's look back on summer to celebrate what God did! We:

Worshiped weekly on the Quad
Welcomed 100+ guests at 4 Summer Dinners
Served with Send Relief in Puerto Rico
Invested in 3 student interns
Visited 13 churches to give updates
Piloted a reunion/update in 3 regions for alumni and friends
Launched Christian Outreach of CNY, a nonprofit to support our chaplaincy, church and student org

Pray for our mission team this week! 🇵🇷

Our students and staff are on a mission trip this week in Puerto Rico. Please pray for them as they serve through Send Relief's Puerto Rico Ministry Center, where we have served since 2017.

Our team of 10 people is serving through a local church to assist an elderly homeowner weatherproof her home through roofing and painting.

Celebrating New Life on Campus!
During Lent and Holy Week we invited the campus community to learn about Jesus and to unify with other Christians.

We began Lent by serving over 1,200 people across 7 Ash Wednesday services, which Pastor Devon coordinated among the 6 other Christian chaplains! This was up from 700 attendees last year.

Holy Week included our second annual Community Dinner, Easter Outreach and a unified Good Friday service. Easter Sunday was truly a celebration, as Drew '26 gave testimony of coming to faith in Christ and we connected with many visitors.

Creating Connections and Strengthening Presence ☀️

We piloted first-time events, such as co-hosting a guest speaker, and created an event for church and ministry leaders from the Syracuse area to learn about Christian chaplaincy. Ash Wednesday served over 1,200 people and we partnered with others for Collegiate Day of Prayer.
