If God gave you a blank check to ask for absolutely anything in the world, what would it be? Wealth? Fame? An easy life?
When God gave King Solomon the ultimate "ask me anything" offer, Solomon didn't ask for temporary shortcuts or personal gain. Instead, he asked for a discerning heart and divine wisdom to lead God's people well.
Because Solomon prioritized God's kingdom and purpose above his own desires, God gave him the wisdom he asked for—plus the wealth, honor, and success he didn't even ask for!

Too often, we exhaust ourselves working for things that don't last. We chase the temporary "bread" of daily worries, validation, or material success. But in John 6:27-29, Jesus reminds us of a higher priority.
