Dear Brides and Grooms,
We are reaching out to you, our couples and community, to address the evolving global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis. There is nothing more important to us at Firenze Wedding Ministries than the health and safety of our couples, so we wanted to share the steps we're taking to do our part.
First, know that for over three weeks now, we have been steadily preparing for the possibility of delayed weddings due to executive orders from both the State of New York and the Federal Governments. With the virus spreading beyond anyone's expectations, it has become quite stressful for all and any planning large events, but you can be sure that we are doing everything we can to keep our office as clean and healthy as possible by avoiding physical contact at our first two weddings of this season. As State and Onondaga County guidelines as of March 16th, 2020 will not allow gatherings of over 50 people, and will require venues to halve their maximum capacity, delaying weddings scheduled in Spring and possibly Summer is becoming an ever present reality.
As your minister and day of coordinator, we are 100% committed to never engaging in surge pricing. We have already heard many stories of venues and vendors raising their prices on high-demand items to capitalize on COVID-19 fears. We promise that at Firenze Wedding Ministries, you'll find the same pricing that we’ve agreed to during your consultations, no matter what happens in the coming weeks. If you are required to delay your wedding, simply contact us as soon as possible to let us know. Rev. Courtenay is keeping her calendar going forward as open as possible for current couples to reschedule their ceremonies, so that she can serve you in the best way possible.
We want to personally thank you for your patience if your wedding and ceremony are delayed. As always, we will communicate in real-time, should you call or email us with further information.
Given how fast this situation is developing, we will of course be monitoring all fronts closely over the coming days and weeks. If anything changes, you can be sure that we'll react on a dime to better serve you, our couples. Even if you simply need to communicate your frustration and sadness that is inevitable with a delayed celebration of your love...
