We hope that as we unpack these dimensions of discipleship you will grow in your faith

Today we will discuss prayer. Disciples enjoy listening to and speaking with God, growing deeper in intimacy and intercession.

o Disciples learn to hear and obey God’s voice, are able to discern His leading from their good ideas, and trust God when He answers.

o Disciples enjoy solitude in God’s presence, and regularly engage in corporate prayer for God’s mission to go forward.

We have an immediate need from one of our local schools. Syracuse STEM BLODGETT Middle School holds a semi-formal every year, but many of the boys do not have dress clothes for this event. Because of this need the school opens up a clothing closet where the kids are allowed to shop for this event. Historically it has been a particular challenge for the school to provide Boys dress clothes. Grace Assembly is partnering with our very own Mel Freeman to help stock this closet for the community.

This event is meant to be a time of joy and making memories for these students. We don't want anyone to miss out, so thank you for partnering with us in this way.

The Semi-Formal is June 12th. We will be collecting boys dress clothes for the next 2 Sundays.

We have been exploring the various dimensions that make a disciple of Jesus Christ. Today we will unpack, MISSION. Disciples are on mission with God in all areas of life, and are able to share the gospel and disciple new believers.

o Disciples have a divine urgency to share the gospel wisely with others and lead someone to faith in Christ. They passionately support local and global missionary activity.

o Disciples are on God’s mission, having a shared sense of purpose with other believers and supporting each other in their individual calling.

Have you fully embraced God's mission? When you encounter someone outside your inner circle...do you treat them with kindness and love? How grieved are you about the fact that there are others who have yet to respond to Jesus's rescue plan?

We as the church have been called for a greater purpose. Our lives are meant to be different with Jesus in our lives. Let's boldly live out God's mission together!

We remember those who have given their lives in service to this country. We pray for comfort for those who are in mourning. We thank God for placing us at this location, at this time, to fulfill what He has called us to do!
