On Sunday, Associate Pastor Mike Wilson explored "what is God like" by taking us through John 11.

In this chapter, we see Jesus demonstrating profound love, truth, and even anger in the face of suffering, showing us both his humanity and divinity.

The message concluded with a moving reminder that Jesus sacrificed himself to bring us life, serving as the perfect picture of who God is.

Take a watch!

Yesterday's message was about discernment as we continued through 1 John, covering 4:1-7.

Measuring messages again the bible rather than personal experience is important so that we can identify and resist false teachings. Pastor also reminded us that salvation is a free gift of grace provided by Jesus Christ.

We hope you will take time to watch the message and let us know what stuck out to you the most.

In yesterday's message, Pastor Simon took a break from 1 John to explore the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in celebration of Easter.

He connected events and imagery from the Old Testament, such as the role of cherubim during the Fall and the Veil in the tabernacle, to the events of the resurrection to show that not only was prophecy fulfilled, but also God's intention was always to have direct relationship with us.

He concluded with an invitation for us to move beyond hoping to have relationship to the absolute certainty of a personal relationship with God, urging us to make God the center of our lives through faith and prayer.

Watch for yourself and let us know in the comments what stuck with you the most.

Last Sunday, Pastor Simon continued his message about "testing the spirits" by discussing 1 John 4:1-6. Through real life examples such as the doomsday clock and other global current events, Pastor encourages us to test teachings against the Bible rather than living in anxiety.

Take a listen and let us know if the comments what stood out to you!
