In our WHY series we explored why we sometimes struggle to follow God’s direction, even when we trust Him. We looked at how doubt, fear, the desire for control, and competing priorities can become barriers to obedience. Sometimes we make excuses or delay what God is calling us to do, even when we know the right path.

We were reminded that recognizing these struggles is an important part of growing in our faith. Obedience isn’t always easy, but through prayer and dependence on God, we can begin to overcome the things holding us back and take steps toward following Him more faithfully.

Today we began focusing on Simple Obedience. We were reminded that salvation comes through grace and faith, and that genuine faith leads us to live in obedience to God. Obedience isn’t about earning God’s love, but responding to the love and grace He has already shown us.

Following Jesus isn’t about achieving perfection, but continually growing in our faith and putting it into action. It’s not enough to simply talk or sing about following God, we are called to live it out through our everyday choices and actions.
