From the Pastor:
The best communication lifts people around us to a higher level because we bring them closer to God. Even though we won't ever talk as well as Jesus, we should try harder to express ourselves in ways that lead people to the foot of the Cross. Constantly, the Devil works to destroy peace in congregations but we overcome the Devil through prayer and choosing our words more carefully and finding ways to build people up rather than tear them down to the ground. "Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another," (Romans 14:19). Since we hope to be part of the churches which last until Christ returns, we need to work daily on improving our approach and representing the Lord well. Thus, we need to work together, help one another and give each other words of encouragement on a regular basis. "Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you are also doing. And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves," (1 Thessalonians 5:11-13).
