What a wonderful afternoon with over 117 people signing the guest register at our Lutheran School open house! It was great to see the building filled with past students and their families. Many stories were told and even a few noses of grandchildren were put in circles on boards for punishment! 🙂

Reminder! Tomorrow we spring forward for Daylight Saving Time. Remember to set your clocks forward one hour before you go to sleep. Otherwise, you'll be showing up to church late!

Do you recognize this limestone landmark where you or your ancestors attended elementary school or Midweek classes? It still stands tall without a crack in its structure. What a blessing from God it has been all these years. Members are currently painting one of the rooms and are astonished that the floors are still so level after 113 years.

Yet, unless taken care of, it will not remain usable. The windows are deteriorated beyond repair and must be replaced before serious rainwater or frozen pipes damage it beyond use. Generous contributions have been pouring in to help with this window replacement project, and members are so grateful.

We will soon be applying for grants. Additional gifts toward this cause will help still more in showing matching funds to these foundations. If you can help, please send your gift to Bethlehem Lutheran, 308 N Indiana Ave, Sylvan Grove, KS 67481. We appreciate those prayers too!
