We are looking for a violin for a youth. Yes, its an odd request, but it could help relax the youth and hopefully help in some decisions and processing things. She enjoys playing and her situation is unlike other situations we serve. The violin should be in good working order not in need of repair. Ready to be used.

Volunteer from Bethany Road Bible Church are working in the office this afternoon to respond to calls that may come in. They are also responding to voicemails, and getting the process going for those seeking support in life.

We are happy to report that we have met 1,235 needs among 250 families already this year! In order to help people with needs for furniture and other items, we need a storage facility to temporary store items that are donated. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not able to continue using our current storage facility. We are urgently searching for a new storage facility. Until we can locate a new storage facility, we will be unable to pick up donated items. Do you know of a storage facility that might be willing to work with us to help people in DeKalb County? Let us know!

Thank you to all that help make the Roger Scott Memorial Golf Outing a great time. A total of 82 golfers participated, the weather was great, laughs were loud, handshakes plentiful, and good grilling was done by a couple board members and a grandson of Roger's. This was definitely a success. We will be posting some pictures this weekend. Come back and check out the fun that was had.

Bob shared the how Love INC impacts the community, and he talked about the upcoming Roger Scott golf outing fundraiser happening this Thursday at River Heights Golf Course in DeKalb. Love INC DeKalb County, a nonprofit working to transform lives by uniting resources from the community and area church ministries, will soon host what the group is calling its largest fundraising event of the year in memory of a longtime DeKalb County sheriff.
