🎒 It was a gorgeous weekend for back to school blessings from Father John and Father Peter! Students from all schools brought their backpacks to Mass and received a blessing, as well as a small gift from St. Mary School Swormville.

Let's keep students and teachers in our prayers this week as they head back to class:

A BACK TO SCHOOL PRAYER - God of wisdom & might, we praise you for the wonder of our being, for mind, body & spirit. Be with our children as they begin a new school year. Bless them & their teachers & staff. Give them strength & grace as their bodies grow; wisdom & knowledge to their minds as they search for understanding; & peace & zeal to their hearts. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Women of our Together in Christ family of parishes, please join Daughters of Mary for a gathering on Friday, September 11 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. under the walnut trees by the back driveway off Stahley Road (at St. Mary's). Please bring a pop-up chair if you are able. Rain location will be room 110/111. Each of us connects to God and others in a unique way. As we understand and appreciate our own views of the Church and the world, we can work together to come to a shared vision of holiness. By looking honestly at the world around us, we can make the choices that will lead us to the true, good, and beautiful--in this life and the next. As we grow in appreciation for the beauty of the Church, we become better equipped to share this gift with others. Our guest speaker is Michael Slish, Sacrament and Formation Coordinator for our family of parishes.
