Today we look at the faith of our fathers on this day when we honor fathers, father figures, and spiritual mentors. Let us lift up the “Faith of Our Fathers” with a sermon titled “Faith that Creates a Legacy” using the scripture text of Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and may we honor the legacies of those who have gone before us.

Today we march forward with our hymns as we discuss “Onward Christian Soldiers.” We are reminded through the scripture text for today Ephesians 6:10-20 that our battle is not one of flesh and blood, but spiritual and requires weapons we can only receive from God. Today we celebrate the reckless love of God that leaves the 99 to find the 1! Our sermon will be titled “Reckless Love: Pursuing the One” with our scripture text coming from Luke 15:1-7. Our song that the sermon follows is “Reckless Love” by Cory Asbury, if you don’t know it look it up because it is an amazing song that will touch your heart and soul.
