Something exciting is coming, and Sweetwater House of Peace — The SHOP is incredibly thankful to be a part of it!

The Garage Monkey Junkies 3rd Annual Car Show is happening Saturday, October 3rd at Stanley Ford in Sweetwater!

This isn't just going to be a great day of cars, trucks, music, food, vendors and fun — this event is also giving back to our community. ❤️

Proceeds will benefit The SHOP as well as the West Texas Children’s Advocacy Center.

Every dollar that comes to The SHOP helps us continue doing what we've been called to do: serve children, families and individuals in our community through programs like our Summer Lunch Program, After School Program and Emergency Temporary Warming Shelter.

So mark October 3rd on your calendar!

Whether you enter a vehicle or simply come out and enjoy the show, you're helping support organizations that serve our community.

We are incredibly blessed to live in a community that takes care of its own. ❤️

🚗 SWEETWATER — THE TIME IS GETTING CLOSER! 🚗

We are excited and incredibly grateful to be one of the organizations benefiting from the Garage Monkey Junkies 3rd Annual Car Show, coming up Saturday, October 3rd at Stanley Ford in Sweetwater!

The proceeds from this event will support two organizations doing important work right here in our area: the West Texas Children’s Advocacy Center and Sweetwater House of Peace — The SHOP. ❤️

For us at The SHOP, this means so much more than financial support. It means that people in our community see the work being done, believe in it, and want to be a part of it.

The SHOP simply could not do what we do without our community. From our Free Summer Lunch Program and After School Program to our Emergency Temporary Warming Shelter and the many other ways we serve children, adults, and families throughout the year, our community makes this ministry possible.

That’s why we want to encourage Sweetwater and the surrounding communities to SHOW UP for this one! 🙌

Bring out your car or truck and enter the show. Come check out some incredible vehicles. Bring the family. Enjoy the music, food, vendors, prizes, and fellowship — and know that just by participating, you are helping make a difference in the lives of people right here in West Texas.
