Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church

Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church 3 Sunday Morning Worship Services @ 8:30am, 9:45am & 11:00am. On August 2, 1949, these two bodies united to become Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church.

Wednesday Evening Worship @ 6:00 pm Fairview Baptist had its beginning in two other church bodies: East Sweetwater Baptist, which was established out of a community church, in 1928, and Fairview Tabernacle, which was organized on June 2, 1940 out of East Sweetwater. FBTC today owes a great debt to both former bodies. FBTC moved int

o a new sanctuary in November, 1999, with the building debt retired on April, 2010. In the winter of 2010 FBTC began construction on the Family Life Center. The FLC opened in June of 2011. FBTC is a Southern Baptist Church committed to the cause of Christ and supportive of the Southern Baptist Convention through the Cooperative Program. We praise God for His guidance and blessings bestowed on Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church.

📸 Sunday Recap

Our campus looked a little different this Sunday as we’ve been at work preparing for VBS! We’re excited for what God is going to do this week and grateful for everyone who has helped get everything ready.

Pastor Jason concluded our series from the book of James by reminding us that trials can develop a spirit of humility in our lives. He challenged us to consider where we are finding our identity—are we placing our hope in things that fade away, or in things we know are eternal?

We were encouraged by the truth that trials cannot destroy genuine faith. Instead, they test and refine it, proving that our faith is real and rooted in Christ.

As we begin VBS this week, please join us in praying for every child who walks onto our campus. Pray that they will hear and understand the Gospel, learn to trust God, and grow in their faith. We can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store! ❤️🙏

🚨 Fairview Students, don’t forget — it’s happening TONIGHT!

Join us for “Na-Cho Wednesday” (yes, we know it’s Tuesday 😄) as Fairview Students gather for a great night of food and fun.

📍 Doors open at 5:30 PM
📍 Service starts at 6:00 PM
📍 For students in grades 6-12

There will be NO student service on Wednesday this week, so make plans to be here tonight and invite a friend!

Don’t forget TOMORROW, Tuesday June 2 is “Na-Cho Wednesday” (yes, on Tuesday)!!
