There is something powerful about the testimonies of the people of God. It can truly be comforting and inspiring to hear of God’s provision in the lives of His people, especially when a testimony is relatable to a person’s current circumstances. For this reason, we will spend the summer hearing testimonies of God at work in the lives of His people.
Recently someone told me that they didn’t have much a of a story too, and to be honest I occasionally feel the same about myself. But this is not true of any of God’s people. Every single believer has a testimony because God is at work in every believer’s life! So, feel free to reach out if God puts something on you heart that you would like to share and plan to join us this summer as we hear of God’s work in the lives of His people. We will begin this series with Kymberlie Grubb sharing her testimony. See you Sunday!

Yesterday was a wonderful way to end the school year for CDO! Such a great group of students, families, teachers and the very best Mrs. Gigi Murff. What a wonderful job she has done as the CDO Director. We wish her the best in her retirement and will miss her tremendously as part of our church staff and amazing ministry leader of CDO. ❤️

Today is the day we have all worked so hard to get to, and Ms. Gigi couldn’t be prouder. It’s bittersweet for us teachers who have poured so much into the sweetest kids ever! Preschool Graduation Celebration starts at 11:00, followed by a family hot dog lunch. Wishing everyone a fun and safe summer! See ya later Alligator 🐊

Pentecost Sunday, May 24th, 2026
Could you imagine the sight of the Holy Spirit falling on the disciples as they were gathered in Jerusalem? Acts tells us that they began to speak in tongues and the languages of all those who had gathered in Jerusalem for Shavuot. Some of those who heard the disciples exclaimed that they were merely drunk on new wine, but in this moment Peter gets up and proclaims a message through the power of the Holy Spirit that led to the conversion of over 3,000 people. Some of the people who were saved were likely the very ones who had shouted out "crucify Him" before Jesus' death. That was surely the power of the Holy Spirit performing a miracle through Peter!
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, which is a time where we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church. It also happens to be Memorial Weekend, which is a time where we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. This Sunday in worship we will observe both days and remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for our freedom, and the gift of the Holy Spirit Who performs miracles daily within our lives by testifying to our spirits of an identity found in Christ alone. We will consider the work of the Holy Spirit in our faith journey and the life of the church. We will consider how these works are only possible through the gift of the Holy Spirit. My prayer is that you will leave this Sunday encouraged to know that as a believer you have been equipped with the Holy Spirit and the means to experience a daily Pentecost.
