There’s just something special about hearing the baptistry filling up on a Saturday night. 💙 It means tomorrow we get to celebrate as 5 people take the plunge and publicly declare their faith in Jesus!

And that’s not all—we’ve got an incredible morning planned with worship featuring some favorites like It Really Is Amazing Grace, The Blood, Run to the Father, and Back to Life. 🙌

If you’ve got a baptism shirt from your own special day, dust it off and wear it tomorrow! It’s a great way to celebrate and show support for these five friends as they take this important next step in their faith journey.

Weather permitting ☀️🔨 we’ve got a work day planned at the Lifehouse Community on Saturday, May 30th from 8AM–3PM!

We’ll be tackling electrical work, mudding, texturing, painting, and plenty more — so there’s a job for everybody. Whether you’re handy with tools or just willing to jump in and help, we’d love to have you there.

No experience needed… just bring yourself and a willingness to serve. Community really does change everything, and this is a chance to be part of building something that will make a real difference. ❤️

🎶 SUMMER MIX TAPE VOL. 4 — WEEK ONE 🎶
This Sunday we kicked off our series with R.E.M.’s Losing My Religion and talked about something we all wrestle with at times: insecurity.

So many of us spend our lives chasing approval, comparing ourselves to others, replaying conversations in our heads, and wondering if we’re enough. But the Gospel reminds us that our identity was never meant to be built on applause, performance, or public opinion — it’s built on the love of God.

King Saul looked confident on the outside, but insecurity was destroying him on the inside. And honestly? A lot of us know that feeling. We smile, perform, and pretend we’re okay while quietly struggling beneath the surface.

But here’s the good news:
Jesus never asked us to be perfect. He never asked us to become somebody else. Our value was settled at the cross. You don’t have to lose yourself chasing approval when your identity is already secure in Christ. ❤️

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget those who laid down their lives in service to our country. We honor their courage, remember their sacrifice, and pray for the families who carry their legacy forward.
