Please pardon our appearance while we wait for our mower to be serviced!

Till the mower comes back in a couple of days the grass will look a little funky and uneven while we w**d whack the stones and other areas, but all will be put right of as soon as I have our mower back.

Again apologies for the high grass and uneven areas, it is temporary!

And please be careful when walking in the sections. There are low areas where the soil has settled that we are filling as we come across them, and I don’t want anyone twisting an ankle!

Fundraiser and Holiday Greens Alert!!!: Eastlawn is partnering with Lynch Creek Farms to raise money to help us repair some of the older orphaned headstones that are or have already been tipped over from tree growth or from the ground shifting, as well as getting some of the flat markers that have sunk below the soil line dug up and raised with new foundations. Please consider getting some holiday greens from the link below to help support the cemetery efforts to keep our grounds and the memories of loved ones and neighbors who have passed cared for!

Please support our fundraiser Eastlawn Orphaned Headstone Repair in , by shopping online or making a donation.

Please pardon our appearance!: Well I chose a bad day to start mowing this week and got caught off guard by the rain, hopefully I can finish up in the morning or later this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon but looking at the weather I think Saturday morning is the soonest I can get out there to finish mowing and w**d whacking and cleaning up the clumpy grass parts of the cemetery. Bear with me and I’ll have it looking as it usually does come this weekend!

I just wanted to thank everyone who supported the cemetery this past weekend! We made enough money to start getting some of these headstones fixed up, and I had such a nice time meeting so many of you all! I think this will indeed be an annual event, I learned a lot from this experience and I can't wait to put it in motion for the next one! Eastlawn is so lucky to have such wonderful neighbors and lot holders!

I am very excited about the plant sale this Saturday and Sunday! I have personally grown almost all of these plants that are for sale so all the money goes right back into the cemetery, and I have tried to keep what we are selling to native species (because of our deer population which likes to eat everything in and around the cemetery!), herbs, vegetables, and just a couple more exotic varieties (not many just a few for fun). I do need to make a small adjustment to the time due to a burial that is taking place on Saturday: The plant sale will start at 1:00 PM and go till 4:00 PM on both days.

I will also have a list of plants that are still a bit too small to sell now but can reserve them now to disperse next month, should there not be an item available that you would like.

To see what will be sold take a look at our events page:
https://www.eastlawn.org/new-events-at-the-cemetery

I hope to see some people there to support the cemetery and the beautiful grounds, rain or shine this weekend! and if you are not in need of plants a donation or volunteer efforts are always welcome!

***All proceeds will go toward grounds maintenance and helping to reset some of our fallen or sunken headstones.***
